Responsibilities

- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster collaboration and support.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Provide early intervention strategies for students who may require additional support in literacy education or special education needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate findings during parent-teacher conferences.
Skills
- Strong written communication skills for effective lesson planning and documentation.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education practices to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Proficiency in literacy education methodologies to promote reading and writing skills among students.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
- Attention to detail for proofreading lesson materials and student assessments.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools that enhance the educational experience.
- Understanding of early intervention techniques to support at-risk students.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively.
